The Africa Centre is pleased to announce the launch of its ground-breaking African Creative Business Programme ‘ACBP’ initiative, starting with a two day intensive and interactive course for creative professionals, to be held at SOAS University of London from April 25th -26th.

This course is supported by the Centre of African Studies and was developed in conjunction with Creative Intelligence.The course runs throughout Saturday 25th & Sunday 26th April and includes the following lectures:

What and where is the art world?
Artist and marketing
Role and influence of the gallery
Role and influence of the collector
International institutional recognition of African contemporary art
Role and function of international art fairs and biennales
Artist and reputation: touchpoints
African contemporary art at auction
Etc
