The Charity Private View will help raise funds for CoolTan Arts, a Southwark-based charity that promotes mental wellbeing through the arts.
CoolTan artists will present animations, film installations and photography reflecting on their conditions, with topics ranging from worry dolls to personal budgets. CoolTan Colouring Therapy workshops featuring original designs, such as ‘Cityscape’ by Graeme Newton (pictured), will be hosted by professional art therapists and explore the benefits of creativity on mental wellbeing. See the fair first and enjoy a complimentary artisanal Sipsmith gin and Fever-Tree tonic.
Based in Southwark, CoolTan Arts is a pioneering arts charity run for people with mental health difficulties and exists to inspire the participation of a diverse range of people in the production of quality arts. All proceeds will go towards funding a range of creative courses, including a new workshop to devise and publish a digital book celebrating the charity’s 25 year history.
We would like to express our thanks to our partners The Affordable Art Fair for their ongoing support.
Tickets also provide access to the fair for its duration (10-13 March).
