In this three hour bookmaking workshop, led by artist Eileen White, you will learn how to make your own unique artist's book!
This book can be filled with words and imagery, responding to Adrian Mundy’s Natural Imperfections, an exhibition of works currently showing at Aspex.
You will learn how to construct and bind the cover, fold and stitch the pages and make other inserts.
This workshop is suitable for beginners, with no experience of bookmaking. All materials are supplied.
Eileen White is a visual artist whose studio practice revolves around site-responsive and researched narratives based on the experience of a particular place and time. Her work relies heavily on a relationship with materials in particular paper, print and stitch.
