ADSTRAVAGANZA is a screening of new films by three emerging video artists; Hazel Brill, Naomi Fitzsimmons and Megan Visser. All of whom use the language of commerciality and tropes of advertising within their practices.
About
As part of artist collect Kühle Wampe's ongoing residency at Nottingham Contemporary, they have extended an invitation to independent curator Georgia Stephenson to host an event.
The presentation of ADSTRAVAGANZA draws on her experience as an art director within a multi-corp advertising agency, with three films by artists who explore various elements of commerciality in their practices.
The screening will be in Gallery Zero from 7-9pm on Friday 10th January, and it will be accompanied by a casual in-conversation with the artists as well as drinks and snacks.
