About
With this exhibition the artist brings us into a familiar-yet-off world of anxiety and loneliness, where the artist creates an unfolding landscape of emotions, actions, and thoughts that stem from his OCD. Using printmaking and crafting paint application, Lupton mediates his paintings akin to how his OCD mediates his life. Through this repetitive lens, he builds narratives asking questions of identity, masculinity, domesticity, modern-day loneliness, and mental health.Adam Lupton, born 1987 in Vancouver/Canada, graduated with a Master of Fine Arts from the New York Academy of Art in 2016. He currently lives and works in Berlin.
