New work by Adam Bridgland

About

Adam Bridgland combines text and imagery incorporating often very British sentiments, surrounding our memories and sense of nostalgia. The work reflects our tendency to reframe memories of our experiences to better fit the high expectations and idealisms we attach to special occasions or events.

Adam Bridgland was one of the artists chosen for our exhibition of MA Printmakers, Hot Off the Press in 2007, having just graduated from the Royal College of Art. Adam has also exhibited widely in the UK, America, Europe and Asia. Collectors of his work include The British Museum, the V&A, UBS, Boeing Asia and Debbie Harry. Along with many other important projects, Adam was awarded his first major public art commission by Commissions East in 2009.

‘We’re Still Good Friends’ is his second solo show with Curwen Gallery.
