Into This Recovery Center

Performance and film screening by Jenna Bliss, Wed 8 April, 7pm

New York based artist Jenna Bliss explores the history of activism around Lincoln Hospital in the South Bronx, a support centre set up by community organisations including The Black Panther

Party. Commissioned with the South London Gallery.

 

Écran Somnambule

(Sleepwalking Screen)

Latifa Laâbissi, Fri 10 April, 6.30pm

A reinterpretation of a fragment of Witch Dance, performed by the pioneering expressionist choreographer Mary Wigman. Laâbissi has slowed down the movements to create a half hour

somnambulist ritual. Costume design and concept by Nadia Lauro.

Dir. Ian Breakwell, 1978, Tue 14 April, 6.30pm

Experimental documentary made during Breakwell’s placements in Rampton and Broadmoor high security hospitals.
