About
Acme Propeller Factory is a former propeller foundry and paper bag factory in Deptford. Since 1990, it’s been home to artist studios and more than 650 artists have worked in the building, which has become a key component of Lewisham’s cultural heartbeat.Acme’s lease on the building is ending and the London-based charity have until December 2025 to raise funds to buy it. To launch the fundraising campaign, around 100 artists are taking part in public open studios and opening Acme's new public events and community engagement space in the building.
