Join artist Gabi Leśniewska for a 2 day drawing-printmaking workshop taking inspiration from supplies found in the kitchen!
About
WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
A two day long printmaking workshop exploring obscure and accessible ways of printing. The course will specifically focus on translating drawing into print - in less obvious terms than expected. Be prepared to switch your pencil for an etching tool, knife or tape. We will be exploring ways of producing lines and markings in a range of intaglio and relief techniques - all using supplies found in your kitchen.
All supplies will be provided by us but please bring any trinkets or things you like to collect. We will be working with ideas of collecting vs. hoarding - classified vs unclassified. A thin line between objects being desired and an inconvenience.

Gabi Leśniewska is an artist, printmaker and educator. Drawing is at the heart of her work.
