About
Asian Cultural Council (ACC), the preeminent New York-based organization advancing international dialogue through arts and cultural exchange between Asia and the U.S., announces the launch of ACC Voices, a new series of public programs. The inaugural program ACC Voices x ARAD: Global Leadership in the Arts features two ACC Fellows and celebrates the impact of international exchange on artistic practices. ACC Executive Director Judy Kim will also share information on ACC’s Fellowship and grant opportunities.
On May 4, 2023, the inaugural program will feature a performance by Taiwanese sheng musician and current ACC Fellow Li-Chin Li. She and Kim will join a panel discussion with the Kennedy Center’s Artistic Director of the Fortas Chamber Music Concerts and Grammy Award-winning violinist Jennifer Koh (ACC 2011 Fellow), and Yan Xiao PhD, Adjunct Assistant Professor, Teachers College, Columbia University. The event is presented in partnership with the Arts Administration Program at Teacher’s College, Columbia University in New York and is free and open to the public. See registration details below. ACC Voices coincides with Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage month.
