The exhibition shows abstract paintings by Beate Baumholzer. After studying design she worked for well-known companies in the fashion industry. Today she is a lecturer and teaches Trend Research. This requires a permanent engagement with color, trend, materiality and aesthetics.

About

Her painting  style is defined by overlapping layers. Different planes emerge in turn, leaving room for interpretation _ Complexity has many facets _ She roughly plans her compositions, but develops the details in an emotional process. Un-perfection creates suspense and distinctiveness.
