From June to July the ATTIC has been host to artists and architects; Christopher Burman, Harry Lawson and Freddy Tuppen from STORE, London. The 3 artists have utilised the ATTIC gallery as their working space for 3 weeks.
About
At the start of the residency the artists in residence constructed a barbecue in the courtyard of One Thoresby Street in preparation for MELT; A workshop for forging tools and sharing food a public workshop to design and construct cooking utensils.
As an outcome of the residency they present ABSOLUTE DATING. A group show comprising of a series of new works from the three artists made whilst on residency.
STORE is a London-based association of artists, architects and designers composed of three core elements: an educational programme of art and architecture courses, wide-ranging public events and exhibitions and a socially engaged design practice.
