As a guest at Haus der Statistik, the video collective Trial and Theresa connects to questions of cybernetics, data collection, and recording devices through a video-sculpture at HdS and a talk series at aquarium (Südblock).
The history and current usage of HdS provides a rich backdrop for cultivating utopian ideas. How can we shape equal opportunities and prosperity for everyone in a digitized and automated future?
Thinking away from surveillance capitalism, two satellite events at aquarium delve into data and statistics as they pertain to electronic music and gendered orders, human-cyanobacteria relationships, and queer-feminist digital futures.
For part 1 in June, artists and researchers present their work and thoughts on the usages and misusages of data and data collection practices.
The event will be recorded and streamed on June, 12th from Aquarium at Südblock. Since the capacity for a live audience is rather limited, please contact us via e-mail, and bring a negative test and an FFP2-mask to wear. RSVP: trialandtheresa@gmail.com
A big thank you to Claude and Richard from aquarium am Südblock!
