We are fortunate to present the remarkable, gifted and exciting artist Abdoulaye Guissé. The painter and poet, who stems from the Sénégal originally, lived in Berlin from 1983 to 2003.
About
His works were displayed in numerous group- and single exhibitions in Europe and the Sénégal.
Get yourself inspired by the brightness of music. When you take the brush you think you would like to do it all on your own. I do not see it like that. I do not do it all on my own. Everything begins with some sort of big bang. My intelligence supports me to find a principle in it and to strengthen it. Therefore, something arises, and I participate in it. It is the act of the participation which I am interested in. I can imagine myself to be someone who participates in a process. But above all, I enjoy doing this.
