About
On the occasion of Abbas Zahedi’s exhibition Holding a Heart in Artifice at Nottingham Contemporary, we will be holding an Open Mic event.
Zahedi’s interdisciplinary practice blends contemporary philosophy, poetics and social dynamics with sound, and other gestures. The Open Mic aims to activate the gallery space and establish a communal space for participation and exchange. Throughout the day we will present an ensemble of creative practices; from spoken word or musical performances to visual art presentations, unfolding before a live audience within.
