About
Hard Copy showcases a collection of large and small-scale xeroxprints as a celebration and reaffirmation of photography's enduring power. In a world overrun by the creation of a trillion images daily, many reduced and capitalized to mere data, the exhibition stands as a resistance to this trend.By reconfiguring contemporary photography through xeroxing and rescanning, it explores the medium's potential to slow the tidal wave pace of image production and consumption. The visual language of the xerox machine evokes nostalgia of a time of more deliberate picture making.
