A World Beneath The Heels

'A World Beneath the Heels' is the first collaborative exhibition between Serce Gallery and Kravitz Contemporary, featuring the works of artists Maja Krysiak, Agata Przyżycka, and Paulina Otylie Suryś. The works in the show encompass a small history of what the female body touches. Through their unique perspectives, the three artists delve into the various ways in which the female body is controlled, rationed, punished, and rewarded in our society, with heels serving as a symbol of this complex dynamic.

With heels working as symbolic catalysts, the exhibition approaches this fetishised gaze and intertwines individual and shared experiences of touch.
