About
A drop-in draw for all ages inspired by the current exhibition at Beaconsfield, IC-98: A View from the Other Side. Contribute to a collaborative drawing, tracing local histories and the rise and fall of real and imagined cities beyond.Basic materials provided but please bring any drawing weapons of choice.
The galleries will be open late for an evening viewing of IC-98: A View From The Other Side. The First UK exhibition by Finnish collaborative duo IC-98 of three meticulously drawn animations, from the series Theses on the Body Politic. The most recent work A View From The Other Side charts over 70 mins the transformation of a neoclassical building, collapsing time frames as hours pass, seasons change and centuries follow each other. Soundtrack improvised by Markku Hietaharju on the organ of Turku Cathedral.
