A Vague Excuse
About
‘A Vague Excuse’ is a group exhibition featuring works that span painting, drawing, sculpture and installation. Participating artists include Mengxi Zhang, Erika Trotzig, Evangelia Dimitrakopoulou, Lewis Baxter and Sara Juel Andersen.
The exhibition focuses on eerily vivid works, that in their passivity imply activity, life, and movement. Including works that communicate via sensuality and vague insinuation, where you feel you can almost grasp a connection, but somehow, it’s always out of reach. Provoking messy sensations and perhaps subtle humour through tentacular movements, expressive gestures, and delicate balances.
