This February, Floren Gallery is honored to present the work of Peter Wileman PROI. Peter will be working with Floren throughout 2009 as one of 12 selected artists who will be exhibiting with us throughout the year. Peter has recently been working on some stunning specialised local scenes of Dorset and Hampshire which are exclusive to Floren. He is renowned for his vigorous use of brushstrokes which convey movement and light in his subjects to the most dramatic effect. Royal Institue of Oil Painter membership is awarded to artists who have shown work of a consistently high standard in its annual exhibitions. Artists are first elected as associate members at the annual exhibitions of the Institute and have a maximum period of five years to convince the Members of the Institute that they merit full membership.
