A Taste and the Aftertaste: Immersive Journey into Annamaria Pennazzi’s Art

Annamaria Pennazzi (filmmaker and artist) presents her first solo exhibition at the newly opened Odyssey Bar & Lounge in Hoxton Square.

Join us for an immersive art experience where you’ll get to indulge your senses as you engage with and move through the exhibition. There’ll be pieces that are inspired by Annamaria’s life as she journeys through different emotions.

The Italian born London based artist was raised on a mix of pasta and neo-realism which has been countered by roast dinners and surrealism. Annamaria’s artworks play on these different themes which will be presented through short films and collages.

The evening will consist of an immersive experiment where you can fill in, touch and play with the artwork. In addition, a pairing menu of unique cocktails* has been created by Michele Reina and Tony Vega, co-founders of Odyssey. They have partnered with Annamaria to create three drinks that will add to the exploration of the pieces whilst engaging the senses, these include: the introduction, the taste and the aftertaste.

Annamaria looks forward to bringing others into her creative process and she will speak on her inspirations, collaborators and experiences of moving from an idea to the physical.

This will be an evening filled with gratitude as family, friends, and art lovers gather.

The event is a collaboration between Odyssey Bar & Lounge (co-founders Tony Vega and Michele Reina) and the artist Annamaria Pennazzi.
