About

We may be a little biased being based in 'God's Own Country' but we really do feel it is the place to be. The creativity is on a par with the more renowned Artist regions of Cornwall and London and we continue to shock the locals with our success in finding homes for sculpture, paintings and ceramics that you are more likely to see in more artistic meccas!

A Slice of Yorkshire Creativity is a show celebrating all that is good in the area with each artist having a strong local presence or roots.

We welcome Cambridge based painter Clare Maria Wood, who grew up not far from the gallery with her wonderful abstract paintings along with Holmbridge based Brendan Hesmondhalgh, Rebecca Appleby, David Mayne and James Oughtibridge. Albert Montserrat, despite being from Barcelona arrived in the region just under two years ago. Susanna Hanl completes the picture with her amazing organic looking jewellery.
