Saturday, 13th August 2016, 2-4pm
EnclaveLab, 50 Resolution Way, SE8 4AL
Deriving from the artistic proxy of Anne de Boer and Frederique Pisuisse's re-construction of personas and images, this reading group will explore encounters of the body with technology, focusing specifically upon figures of the cyborg, the networked body and transformations of identity in the virtual space, in tandem with Donna Haraway's Cyborg Manifesto and key Cyberfeminist approaches.
