About

Art Historian Maggie Giraud FRSA, will give a talk centred on this celebrated vision of the Nativity, painted for an Italian patron, Tommaso Portinari, which now hangs in the Uffizi Gallery in Florence. Using the altarpiece as her subject, Maggie will explore the history of its making, and draw comparisons with other depictions of the event.
