A Room of One's Own
Women's History Month
14-19 March 2013
Private View: Thursday 14 March 6-9pm
As part of Women's History Month, a mixed-gender group of 12 artists offer their personal responses to the ideas presented in Virginia Woolf's feminist and modernist essay A Room of One's Own published in 1929. It takes its name from the author's belief that a room of one's own and money in one's pocket" are essential to women's creative freedom.
