A River Runs Through It is an art exhibition exploring London’s vibrant personality and ever-changing landscape through its colours, shapes and unique perspectives.
About
After the huge success of last year's exhibition, attended by more than 4,500 art lovers and collectors, five of London’s most dynamic artists return to the famous gallery@oxo, situated in the heart of the South Bank.
The exhibition will showcase the breathtaking artworks of Urban Soup, a group of artists living in our city, bound by their love of the metropolis. Each artist offers their own distinctive interpretation of the city’s evolving environment using a variety of unusual mediums and materials in their work including:
Dazzling light installations; delicate paper sculptures; intricate cityscapes drawn with a biro; wafer-thin aluminium prints; ultra-detailed urban paintings; stunningly colourful screen prints, fine rural oil paintings, and interactive art. Plus a fantastic selection of affordable prints to collect.
This year’s artists include LoveJordan, the much sought-after duo who caused quite a stir with their recent sell-out show at the prestigious Woolff Gallery in Fitzrovia; Susan Bunn, shortlisted for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition; Michael Wallner, a former television producer who has exhibited world-wide including New York, Singapore, and Milan; Emma Reynolds, a former Motion Graphics Director, is one of London’s most original screenprinters and a member of the famous East London Printmakers., Nessie Ramm is an award-winning landscape painter with a Cambridge University Botany degree and a fondness for the minute details of the natural world.
We look forward to showing you how at gallery@oxo this August.
