A PRODUCTION OF NOTHING is the attempt to assemble works which are almost invisible, incidental and that exist for a short period of time only into an ephemeral exhibition.
About
A PRODUCTION OF NOTHING is the attempt to assemble works which are almost invisible, incidental and that exist for a short period of time only into an ephemeral exhibition. For the period of three days some of the works will be presented or highlighted in conversation pieces among participants. The exhibition is a continuous process - works are installed - a conversation comes up - a performance begins - the presentation gets rearranged - coffee is made - a poem is read - .... The organisation, the art making and its presentation are intertwined and a choreography of situations and events arise.
Participants are invited to get involved and bring finished work, develop on site or report about their practice. Each one is explicitly invited to try out something new and to experiment along. The venue will be available daily September 14 – 16 from 1 – 5 pm for internal intervention and exploration and from 5 – 9 pm open to public.
The title of the show is a first work and taken from the project „SHOW TITLES“ - SHOW TITLE, #724 by Stefan Brüggemann.
