The Hestercombe Gallery, which opened in 2014 in Hestercombe House, aims to showcase national and international contemporary art. The gallery is made up of simple spaces, stripped to reveal their architectural heritage, providing an interesting and thought-provoking gallery for the region.

The latest Hestercombe Gallery exhibition focuses on the personal passions of art collector Chris Ingram, and showcases important works from the twentieth century to the present day. More recent contemporary works by artists such as Peter Howson, Ken Currie, Ray Richardson and Suki Chan juxtaposes Modern British luminaries such as Dame Elisabeth Frink, Carel Weight, Lynn Chadwick, Kenneth Armitage, David Bomberg and Frank Auerbach. The exhibition features sculpture, works on canvas and paper as well as film.
