Following her wonderful sell out show in 2014 at London's Thackeray Gallery, Scottish Artist Christine McArthur, has created a collection of wonderful interiors and stunning still-lifes for her 2016 solo show entitled 'a painted year'.
A collection of over 30 works takes us on a journey through a year in the artist's creative life. A deeply personal journey that encompasses trips to Greece, personal conversation with family and friends, as well as personal introspective times at home in her studio.
This is collection of work that can only be described as joyous, colourful, rich in narrative, warmth & personal all in one breath, and one that should not be missed.
