A Painted Line - New Paintings - Ed Hodgkinson

Following on from his last show exhibiting work based on the modernist architecture of the Golden Lane Estate, this exhibition sees Hodgkinson return to figurative painting. Large-scale, enamel on aluminium, Hodgkinson's paintings are strikingly graphic. Using a pared down but powerfully descriptive line against a backdrop of flat colour, his work is fundamentally concerned with drawing.

Hodgkinson lives and works in london, he has exhibited widely, both in London and internationally, showing recently in New York, LA, Tokyo and Reykjavik.
