A collaboration between Kreuzberg pavilion and ʃtaʦion
About
The Kreuzberg pavilion theme for the Project Space Festival forms of solidarity within the Berlin project space scene and combines this with the temporary project space ʃtaʦion .
ʃtaʦion is a former ticket office at Ostbahnhof, which is used for a period of 8 months as a small, 4 m², project area since March 2015. The program aims Berlin-specific themes, such as the urban transformation and the consequent process of social change, the 'shrinking' of open spaces and its consequences, to address and to investigate artistic.
The joint project A monument for the unexpected (it's not down in any map; true places never are) invites visitors a to rethink the public space and to respond to forms of displacement encountered in Berlin.
