Private View invites you to attend an intimate discussion between artist Luam Melake and Corrine Gordon, independent curator and founder of MYÜZ.
Luam Melake, represented by Ethiopian gallery Addis Fine Art, is a Brooklyn-based artist who draws from her architecture background and Ethiopia's rich textile history to create tapestry works and surrealist sculptures.
This talk is held in conjunction with the two person exhibition, Without Qualities, featuring work by Luam Melake and Tariku Shiferaw and on view through July 14th. Private View is a unique, salon-style gallery space that aims to create an open environment where exhibitions, lectures, and special projects can creatively interact.
