About
The Function Room presents A Man Called Burroughs: photographs by Harriet Crowder including unseen portraits of William S. Burroughs taken during a trip to Wales in 1960. Revealing the surprising location of an iconic portrait of the man that appeared on the cover of the 1965 LP Call Me Burroughs.
Catch the glassy-eyed, pin-pointed stare of its subject. In the second image, a cigarette stub in the left hand, pointed at the viewer.
