Unique Exhibition of Post Impressionist Paintings
About
Andre was born in Evreux, France and was one of the renowned artists of the Ecole de Normandie. He first exhibited aged 20 at the Salon d’Automne Paris and twice attained there the “Young Artist of the Year’ accolade. He then fulfilled his dream of being a professional artist over the next four decades and exhibited regularly in Europe, the USA and the Far East gathering a large number of
collectors and having his work acquired by museums in France and Belgium. He had a warm and engaging personality and looks that were often compared to the great Monet! We first exhibited Andrés paintings towards the end of his life and have had several shows since he died as we hold him in high regard and clients have a continued interest in purchasing his finework. This exhibition is the result of several years of painstaking searching for unique examples of such work, mainly from private sources, and will include a large number of oils on canvas and works on paper by the wonderful man.
