About
The Broadway Gallery is delighted to support a showcase of eight BA Fine Art Students from Anglia Ruskin University as part of the Letchworth Culture Project. Over the last 18 months Art Students have been adapting to new ways of learning with limited studio access, online tutorials and the universal cancelation and digitisation of degree shows. Students from Anglia Ruskin University reached out to the Broadway Gallery for help and will now exhibit part of their degree show at Howard Park Corner from the 26 July.
The exhibition, ‘A Left, Then Right’, featuring the work of Mollie Mclellan, Jessica Leigh Henry, Samuel Joshua Richardson, Julie Troy, Oscar Hart, Ella Luben, Daniela Mendes and Will Logan, acts as an account of individual and shared experience of space. Previously unable to exhibit together due to the pandemic, the artworks can finally communicate as one unanimous force as the cohort of artists collectively, post-degree, to share their work.
A Left, Then Right, is the latest part of the Letchworth Culture Project that providing temporary exhibition spaces to the local community to run arts, culture and heritage projects. It can be visit at Howards Park Corner on Saturdays and Sundays, 10am – 1pm until the 24 July.
