Join us to celebrate the summer solstice and journey back to the Jazz Age when we see SOME LIKE IT HOT on Broadway on Wednesday June 21st, preceded by a pre-show reception at beautiful, prohibition-style Valerie.
About
Some Like It Hot is the most nominated show of the season, with 13 Tony Award® nominations including Best Musical. Set in Chicago when Prohibition has everyone thirsty for a little excitement, Some Like It Hot is the “glorious, big, high-kicking” (Associated Press) story of two musicians forced to flee the Windy City after witnessing a mob hit. With gangsters hot on their heels, they catch a cross-country train for the life-chasing, life-changing trip of a lifetime.
Entertainment Weekly calls Some Like It Hot “a booze-soaked boisterous good time from start to finish, boasting infectious music by Marc Shaiman and lyrics by Shaiman and Scott Wittman, a witty book by Matthew López and Amber Ruffin, and stellar direction and choreography by Casey Nicholaw.”
Beforehand, we’ll get into the spirit of the Golden Age with pre-show drinks & appetizers at Valerie.
All tickets include a seat with the group in the mezzanine. Full experience tickets also include shared appetizersbefore the show. All drinks and additional food will need to be ordered separately and paid for at the restaurant.
