‘A Futuristic Woman’, a group show by four female artists: Natasha Nejman, Iona Rowland, Sara Pope, and Kate Bellm.
About
The show will explore the diverse nature of femininity through multidisciplinary approaches in expertly challenging contemporary portraiture; the image of the woman will be controlled by female artists. Although the artists incorporate imagery of women in their work, the exhibition is not clinched purely by gender; the works of the artists’ share a punchy aesthetic, with neon brights, eye-catching forms, and exciting themes and subject matters. Themes of the spectacle, psychoanalysis, sexuality, beauty, fashion, and femininity are examined by the artists.
