About
A well-established staple of the dance calendar, A Festival of Korean Dance returns for its 8th year in a longstanding partnership between The Place and the Korean Cultural Centre UK.From the raw energy of Korea National Contemporary Dance Company’s 16-strong epic Jungle, to Modern Table’s dynamic interpretation of Shakespeare’s classics in Ham:beth, the festival celebrates the bold creativity of Korea’s contemporary dance scene. Showcasing innovative work from Ji-hye Chung, Melancholy Dance Company and Choi x Kang Project, the festival continues to push artistic boundaries and foster cultural exchange between Korea and the UK.
