Designed in dialogue with David Panos’s exhibition Time Crystals, Pump House Gallery presents ‘A Dance and Gesture Archive’, where audiences are invited to explore the exhibition’s themes and ideas through gesture, movement and dance. Visitors of all ages can drop in and take part by dancing to their favourite song on camera and recording it in front of a green screen. The final archive of all the videos produced over the course of the project will be displayed during the final two weeks. There will also be a series of free family workshops exploring dance and gesture with a dancer/choreographer, and how fashion and style are important to culture.
