A coronation concert with Alamire

About

In conjunction with the anniversary of Henry VIII's accession to the throne this free lunchtime performance presents some of the most magnificent choral music gifted to the monarch and composed during his reign. The concert will consist of works by Robert Fayrfax, Philippe Verdelot and John Taverner performed by one of the UK's leading vocal consorts Alamire alongside the cornett and sackbut ensemble QuintEssential and gothic harpist Andrew Lawrence-King. Directed by David Skinner. Please note that this is not a seated event.
