A Compulsive Beauty by Kim Tong & Yvonne Wayling
Both artists have completed strong new collections for this much anticipated and first show of the year at Ben Oakley Gallery.
Kim Tong's practice consists of sumptuous, layered, glazed oil paintings that combine figurative, symbolic and abstract elements, digital prints, drawings and etchings.
Yvonnes has successfully worked in Oils, Acrylics and Mixed Media. Over the last six years she has been honing her impressive skills in spray paint and hand cut stencil work to great effect.
Yvonne’s innovative artworks can be seen on many different mediums. Each piece is exquisitely painted on surfaces as decadent as Champagne bottles and Antique Crystal Glasses, tables and guitars as well as traditional canvas.
