A Christmas Collection comprises the work of four West Wales based artists who have shown their work together as a group for many years. Susan Sands, known both as a painter and a printmaker, brings vibrant work in acrylics with subject matter ranging from peaceful river and estuary scenes, to portraits, boats and exuberant flower studies. A selection of her original prints (etchings, lithographs and collagraphs) are also be available unframed.
Neil Richardson is a ceramicist producing both highly glazed pieces and softer hued raku pottery. Brilliant red, green and yellow crackle-glazed pots, from tall and elegant vases to small pinch pots, stand alongside smoky fumed vessels in fiery colours, nearly fifty pieces in the collection altogether.
Riitta Sinkkonen-Davies weaves natural materials to make richly coloured fine work whether it be practical items such as rugs and table runners, luxurious wearable silk and wool wraps and scarves or large imaginative pictorial wall-hangings and smaller framed pieces.
Sara Lloyd-Morris works with metals and precious stones to create jewellery inspired by elements of the sea and natural leaves and pods. Using gold, silver, copper or bronze, along with accents of pearl, turquoise, moonstone and ammonite, Sara has designed a collection of unique statement pieces.
