Itch the Scratch Collective invites you to join us as we soften the boundaries (the doors and walls?)
between you and me
between us and them
between these and those
between some and others
Through performances, music and workshops we will create an entangled space. Together we will hold this social response-ability.
Alter the logic of the place you are invited to, as we, in our turn, are altered as hosts by your presence as the guest.
So, the offering of a cushion, a poem, or the touch of a blanket carefully unravels an ongoing dialogue of change and mutual adaptation.
We interpret hosting as a radical way of seeding connections, companionship, and kinship. As a methodology to transform ourselves into one multifaceted being that discovers solace, joy, and pleasure in collectivity.
