Seven of the artists who are taking part in the Biggar Little Festival Open Studios event in October have got together under one roof to show their work.

About

All of the work is based on the great outdoors - be that rural or urban.  We have Ken Russell (who has been working on a series of paintings about the demolition of Edinburgh's St James Centre whose structures have not had 'a breath of fresh air' for many years!)  Moira Russell (whose work is based on Allotments and the places we overlook - hedgerows and verges.) Elspeth Wight, Kay Booton and Veronica Liddell have all taken their inspiration from the Scottish Landscape.  Susheila Jamieson's nature inspired sculptures would grace anyone's outdoors (or indoors!) and Moira Pedreschi's lovely silver jewellery is inspired by the natural world around her.
