Hyper Space, a new curatorial project by Alyssa Rogers, is pleased to present its inaugural show "A Body Is A Home". This group exhibition explores the body as a mercurial membrane between the self and everything else. The multi-disciplinary show speaks to the body as both a literal and spiritual vessel, and to the messiness, humor, and pleasure of embodiment. The opening brunch party, which will feature a ceramics sale by Hark! LA, will take place at 4123 Tilden Ave in Culver City from 10 to 5 pm on Saturday, August 20th. Mark your calendars for a closing party and performance Sept 10th.
The show will run from August 20th to September 10th, and will feature work by Kira Maria Shewfelt, Sasha Fishman, Connie Salvayon, Vaughan Larsen, Sophia Flood, Elizabeth Folk and Alyssa Rogers.
