About

Les Wynn started the Malvern Press in Hackney, 1953, with his son Peter joining in 1962. Both will share their memories, showing some of their most celebrated printed samples and talking through the history of the business, which moved to Harlow in 2003 and closed in 2014.

This event is part of the Lightboxes & Lettering event programme, which celebrates the fascinating and important history of east London's print industry, funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
