Introducing a group of artists, recently graduated from the University of Brighton, who have come together to explore their diverse approaches to developing ideas and making work in this, their inaugural group exhibition. The show includes sculpture, installation and painting.
About
6 UNFOLD is a vibrant exhibition of new work including sculpture, painting, bookarts, stitch and installation from 6 female artists. This is the group’s inaugural exhibition together. All recent graduates from the University of Brighton, the group came together to critic work, encourage development and to fill the void post the structure of education. In exploring the varied approaches that we each have to developing ideas and making work, it was clear that we shared similar concerns. The work considers diverse and sometimes conflicting perspectives on identity, absence, the remembered past and the unfolding future.
