About
The Venice Biennale is quite possibly contemporary art's most famous event. This year's edition, curated by Cecilia Alemani, Director & Chief Curator of High Line Art in New York, opens to the public on 23 April and speaks to our current reality. The Exhibition will take place in the Central Pavilion (Giardini) and the Arsenale, including 213 artists from 58 countries; 180 of these are participating for the first time in the International Exhibition. 1,433 works and objects are on display, and 80 new projects are conceived specifically for the Biennale Arte.
