About
This talk will cover the period of dramatic change that Russia experienced in the 50 year period from 1890 to 1940. The profound shifts in the political and socio-economic structure of society will be linked to the imagery expressed in posters, from life in Imperial Russia under the Tsars to life in the Soviet Union under Stalin.
Date: Wednesday 30 November, 7-8pm
Address: AntikBar, 404 King's Road, London SW10 0LJ
Tickets: £5 (includes welcome drink). Places are limited.
Tickets can be purchased at their gallery and online via their website at http://www.antikbar.co.uk/our_publications/our_publications/50_years_of_russian_history_in_posters_18901940/BB0009/.
