Entitled ‘5 Rooms / 5 Artists’, each artist will take over a room, exhibiting, selling and permanently decorating, their space.

About

5 Rooms / 5 Artists is a spontaneous pop-up exhibition which will take place at die Fabrik, a hotel and hostel located in the heart of Kreuzberg. Like many businesses, they have been hit hard by Corona and are currently facing a 10% occupancy rate. The minds

behind this collaboration is the newly formed initiative, ‘Spend it Forward’, who work to build a grassroots community of locals supporting locals, to help get businesses, events, and venues, back on track after the Covid-19 lockdown. This of course includes artists!

Entitled ‘5 Rooms / 5 Artists’, each artist will

take over a room, exhibiting, selling and

permanently decorating, their space.

Exhibiting artists include:

Rory Midhani (www.rorymidhani.com)

Mazen Khaddaj (www.mazenkhaddaj.com)

Jan Herdlicka (www.janherdlicka.de)

Guillermo S. Quintana (@guillermo.s.quintana.art)

Amanda Arrou-tea (@mandioh)

With a special long-durational performance by Stefano Taiuti during the vernissage. (@stefanotaiuti)

In line with the Spend it Forward concept, sales of artwork will not only directly help the artists, but 20% of all sales will be given to die Fabrik, as they look for new ways to help the community and reinvent themselves.

PLEASE NOTE that the correct location of the exhibition is at the Die Fabrik Hostel - Schlesische Str. 18 Berlin 10997.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: The location of the event is not taking place at the Andreas Reinsch Project as falsely stated earlier. Nor it has any connection with it.
